The Arena Würzburg is one of the region’s major infrastructure and development projects and has been designed as a multi-purpose venue for sport, concerts, conferences and other large-scale events. The project aims to create a modern, high-performance and, at the same time, sustainable venue. In particular, the plans include the use of renewable energies, modern heat recovery solutions, resource-efficient building services, green roofs with water retention, and climate-adapted outdoor facilities.
Glock Liphart Probst & Partner has been entrusted with the legal support for the Arena Würzburg project. This includes, in particular, support with public procurement law, the drafting of contracts under civil construction law, and advice on public law issues. The forward-looking project, which is scheduled for completion by 2029, is being developed with the involvement of more than 20 specialist planning offices, service providers and other experts.
