At Glock Liphart Probst & Partner, we think outside the box and take on responsibilities that go beyond the scope of our core professional work – with academic publications, pro bono activities, in honorary offices as well as through cultural commitment.

Publications

Our lawyers Alice Burgmair and Jörg Weißker publish on lease and condominium law. Both are co-authors of the “Münchener Anwaltshandbuchs Mietrecht” (Lease Law Manual), Jörg Weißker also in the “Beck’sches Formularbuch für die Anwaltskanzlei” (Law Firm Manual). Alice Burgmair writes on the Condominium Act in the Münchner Kommentar zum BGB (a commentary on the German Civil Code); she is also a member of the editorial board of the journal “IVR Immobilien- und Vollstreckungsrecht” on real estate and enforcement law. Dr. Karlgeorg Stork is co-editor of a practical commentary on the Honorarium Regulation for Architects and Engineers (HOAI 2013)

With the commemorative publication “Facetten des Immobilienrechts” (Facets of Real Estate Law), published in September 2015, Glock Liphart Probst & Partner mbB pay tribute to their partner Dr Manfred Probst and his contributions to the success of our firm. The preface to the work, which has been published by Nomos-Verlag, was written by Prof. Dr. Johannes Wittmann, former President of the Bavarian Administrative Court and former Vice-President of the Bavarian Constitutional Court.

Pro bono

As a long-established Munich law firm working in real estate and commercial law, we take our social responsibility very seriously. We place great importance in our pro-bono work (within the scope of what is permissible under professional law), which we perform for non-profit organisations or persons in distress to help them receive justice.

Honorary posts

We also contribute our legal expertise outside of our office – our lawyers hold a number of honorary offices, usually on a long-term basis, e.g. in professional institutions as well as in the context of board activities in charitable foundations and associations.
