Munich Airport serves as a hub for international air traffic, with a steadily growing traffic volume. The airport is the number 2 in Germany. The new satellite expansion opened in April 2016, adding 27 more aircraft parking positions. It’s the first midfield terminal in Germany.
Glock Liphart Probst & Partner has been involved in the planning of this project from the very beginning, supporting one of the major project partners. Due to the planning process lasting several years, contractual addenda had to be negotiated and the interfaces with the client and other parties involved in the planning had to be redefined. We provided legal assistance during construction to address the special technical challenges.
Glock Liphart Probst & Partner also advised the planner on the matter of procurement law early on in the project, as well as on supplementary tenders subsequent to the initial award.
